Vanguard Australian Shares High Yield ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by Vanguard Investments Australia Ltd. It invests in the public equity markets of Australia. The fund seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors, excluding real estate investment trusts (REITs). It invests in the dividend-paying stocks of companies across all market capitalizations. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the FTSE ASFA Australia High Dividend Yield Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. It was formerly known as Vanguard 100 Australian Shares Index ETF. Vanguard Australian Shares High Yield ETF was formed on June 14, 2000 and is domiciled in Australia.
