The fund invests in stocks of companies operating across consumer discretionary, consumer durables and apparel, household durables, household furnishings, metal and wood household furniture, retailing, specialty retail, home improvement retail, home furnishing retail, furniture store, industrials, capital goods, construction and engineering, prefabricated buildings and components, homebuilding, residential construction, general contractors and operative builders, home construction sectors. It invests in growth and value stocks of companies across diversified market capitalization. The fund seeks to track the performance of the Dow Jones U.S. Select Home Construction Index, by using representative sampling technique. iShares U.S. Home Construction ETF was formed on May 1, 2006 and is domiciled in the United States.
