The fund invests in U.S. dollar denominated fixed rate U.S. treasury securities that have a remaining maturity of greater than or equal to one year and less than three years. It seeks to track the performance of the ICE U.S. Treasury 1-3 Year Bond Index, by using representative sampling technique. iShares 1-3 Year Treasury Bond ETF was formed on July 22, 2002 and is domiciled in the United States.
