The fund is managed by SSGA Funds Management, Inc. It invests in the fixed income markets of the United States. It invests in U.S. dollar denominated fixed rate and non-convertible investment grade corporate bonds which have a remaining maturity of greater than or equal to 1 year and less than 3 years and that are rated Baa3 or higher by Moody’s or BBB- or higher by S&P or Fitch. The fund seeks to track the performance of the Bloomberg U.S. 1-3 Year Corporate Bond Index, by using representative sampling technique.
