The company offers wires, cables, and accessories comprising energy and special cables, OTHL and OPGW, steel applications, winding wires, cable accessories, plastics, insulators, oil and gas solutions, copper rods, and telecom cabling solutions; and electrical product including transformers, busway, fiberglass poles, and motion appliances, as well as complementary products, including structures for use in wind turbines.

It also provides engineering and construction services for power generation, transmission, and distribution; and public and civil works, water and wastewater treatment solutions, and monument restoration.

In addition, the company offers digital solutions including energy management, integrated solutions, telecom infrastructure, automation, and cloud and analytics; and infrastructure investments comprising industrial development, port and logistics development, energy and water investments, and utility developments.

The company was formerly known as Elswedy Cables Co and changed its name to El Sewedy Electric Company in November 2010.
