Touax SCA engages in the provision of leasing, management, and sale of standard and flexible mobile equipment used for the transport of goods in Europe, Africa, Asia, North America, South America, and internationally.

The company operates through three segments: Freight Railcars, River Barges, and Containers. Its fleet consists of various railcars, such as intermodal railcars used to transport standard containers used for maritime transport or swap bodies; flatbed railcars used to transport semi-trailers; car-carrying railcars, used to transport automobiles or large-capacity vehicles, such as pickup trucks by rail; coil cars, which are specially designed to transport large coils of steel, cables, wires, and other similar coiled materials; sliding-door cars; and hopper and powder cars used to transport bulk materials.

The company is also involved in construction and sale of modular buildings; leasing and related services; railcar maintenance; and asset management; as well as sale of components used in railcars.

As of December 31, 2025, the company owned and managed a container fleet of 305,135 twenty-foot equivalent units.
