It invests in the public equity markets across the globe. The fund seeks to invest in the stocks of companies operating in the clean energy sector, which include clean energy production and clean energy equipment & technology companies. It invests in the stocks of large-cap companies. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the S&P Global Clean Energy Index, by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. It was formerly known as iShares II Public Limited Company - iShares S&P Global Clean Energy. iShares Global Clean Energy Transition UCITS ETF was formed on July 9, 2007 and is domiciled in Ireland.
