It is co-managed by Pacific Investment Management Company LLC and PIMCO Europe Ltd. The fund invests in the fixed income markets of emerging countries across the globe. It invests in local currency denominated, fixed-rate government debt securities with minimum 12 months to maturity. The fund invests in investment grade securities that are rated as BBB- and above by S&P and Fitch and Baa3 and above by Moody’s. It seeks to replicate the performance of the PIMCO Emerging Markets Advantage Local Currency Bond Index, by investing in securities as per their weightings in the index. The fund was formerly known as PIMCO Fixed Income Source ETFs plc - PIMCO Emerging Markets Advantage Local Bond Index Source ETF. PIMCO Fixed Income Source ETFs plc - PIMCO Emerging Markets Advantage Local Bond Index Source UCITS ETF was formed on August 4, 2011 and is domiciled in Ireland.
