Xtrackers Australia Government Bond UCITS ETF is an exchange traded fund launched by Deutsche Asset Management S.A. It is co-managed by Deutsche Asset Management Investment GmbH and Deutsche Asset Management (UK) Limited. The fund invests in the fixed income markets of Australia. It uses derivatives such as swaps to invest in the Australian Dollar denominated, fixed-rate bonds issued by sovereigns, supranational organization, sovereign agency or a local government authority with maturity of at least one year. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the DB Australia SSA Bonds Total Return Index, by employing synthetic replication methodology. It was formerly known as db x-trackers II - AUSTRALIA GOVERNMENT BOND UCITS ETF (DR). Xtrackers Australia Government Bond UCITS ETF was formed on May 19, 2010 and is domiciled in Luxembourg.
