The fund uses derivatives such as swaps to invest in Euro denominated fixed rate corporate bonds with maturity between 1 and 3 years. It invests in high yield securities that are rated as between BB+ and CCC- by S&P, BB+ and CCC by Fitch, and Ba1 and Caa3 by Moody’s. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the BofA Merill Lynch BB-CCC 1-3Year Euro Developed Markets High Yield Constrained Index, by employing synthetic replication methodology.
