It invests in the US dollar denominated, fixed-rate, and investment grade treasury notes with a remaining maturity of between 7 and 10 years. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the ICE U.S. Treasury 7-10 Year Bond Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. It was formerly known as iShares II Public Limited Company - iShares Barclays $ Treasury Bond 7-10. iShares $ Treasury Bond 7-10yr UCITS ETF was formed on December 8, 2006 and is domiciled in Ireland.
