The fund invests in the fixed income markets of emerging countries across the globe. It primarily invests in the U.S. dollar-denominated fixed rate and floating rate instruments issued by sovereign and quasi-sovereign entities which have at least two years until maturity. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the J.P. Morgan EMBI Global Diversified Index and the J.P. Morgan EMBI Global Core Index, by using representative sampling technique. iShares J.P. Morgan USD Emerging Markets Bond ETF was formed on December 17, 2007 and is domiciled in the United States.
