AMAL aims to achieve long-term capital appreciation and exhibits the primary features of Islamic financial products: it is asset backed, ethical, shares risks equitably, and is subject to good governance. The Shariah Global Equity ETF typically invests in 30-45 high quality, attractively priced global companies that are best-in-class on a variety of ESG, financial and valuation metrics and have solid growth prospects. The ETF invests globally and is benchmark agnostic in terms of geographic and industry allocations.
