It is co-managed by BlackRock (Singapore) Limited, BlackRock Financial Management Inc., and BlackRock Advisors (UK) Limited. The fund invests in the fixed income markets. It invests in the fixed and floating rate, British Pound denominated corporate, quasi-sovereign, and covered bonds with a maturity of up to 3 years. The fund invests in investment grade securities that are rated as BBB- and above by S&P and Fitch and Baa3 and above by Moody’s. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Markit iBoxx GBP Liquid Investment Grade Ultrashort Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. iShares £ Ultrashort Bond UCITS ETF was formed on October 16, 2013 and is domiciled in Ireland.
