It is co-managed by BlackRock (Singapore) Limited, BlackRock Financial Management Inc., and BlackRock Advisors (UK) Limited. The fund invests in the fixed-income markets of the developed countries across the globe. It invests in the fixed-rate, local currency denominated, investment grade government inflation-linked bonds with a minimum time to maturity of one year. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the Barclays World Government Inflation-Linked Bond Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. It was formerly known as iShares III Public Limited Company - iShares Barclays Global Inflation-Linked Bond. iShares Global Inflation Linked Government Bond UCITS ETF was formed on August 1, 2008 and is domiciled in Ireland.
