The fund invests in the public equity markets of the developed countries across the globe. It invests directly and through derivatives such as forward contracts in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund invests in the stocks large-cap and mid-cap companies, the returns being hedged to British Pound. It seeks to replicate the performance of the MSCI World 100% Hedged to GBP Index Net, by employing representative sampling methodology. The fund was formerly known as iShares V Public Limited Company - iShares MSCI World Monthly GBP Hedged Fund. iShares MSCI World GBP Hedged UCITS ETF was formed on September 30, 2010 and is domiciled in Ireland.
