The fund invests in the public equity markets of the developed countries across the globe. It invests directly and through derivatives such as forward contracts in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap and mid-cap companies, the returns being hedged to Euro. It seeks to replicate the performance of the MSCI World 100% Hedged to EUR Index Net, by employing representative sampling methodology. The fund was formerly known as iShares V Public Limited Company - iShares MSCI World Monthly EUR Hedged. iShares MSCI World EUR Hedged UCITS ETF was formed on September 30, 2010 and is domiciled in Ireland.
