It is co-managed by BlackRock Advisors (UK) Limited, BlackRock (Singapore) Limited, and BlackRock Financial Management Inc. The fund invests in the fixed income markets across the globe. It invests in Euro denominated, fixed-rate corporate bonds issued by industrial, utility, and financial companies with a maturity between one and five years. The fund invests in the investment grade securities that are rated as BBB- and above by S&P and Fitch and Baa3 and above by Moody's. It seeks to replicate the performance of the Barclays Euro Corporate 1-5 Year Bond Index, by employing representative sampling methodology. The fund was formerly known as iShares III Public Limited Company - iShares Barclays Euro Corporate Bond 1-5 Fund. iShares Euro Corporate Bond 1-5yr UCITS ETF was formed on September 25, 2009 and is domiciled in Ireland.
