The fund is co-managed by UBS Asset Management (UK) Ltd and UBS Asset Management, London. It invests in the fixed income markets of the United States. The fund invests directly and through derivatives in US Dollar denominated, fixed-rate corporate bonds issued by financial, industrial, and utility companies and with as maturity ranging between 1 and 5 years. It invests in investment grade securities that are rated as BBB- and above by S&P and Fitch and Baa3 and above by Moody’s. The fund seeks to replicate the performance of the Barclays US Liquid Corporate 1-5 Year Index (Total Return), by investing in the securities as per their weightings in the index.
