About XT0D

The FTSE US Treasury Short Duration Index aims to replicate the investment performance of the United States government's short-term, USD-denominated debt obligations. This includes fixed-rate bonds with remaining maturities ranging from one month to one year, and floating-rate bonds maturing between one month and three years. Eligible securities must have a minimum outstanding value of $5 billion, excluding those held by the Federal Reserve. The index comprises fixed and floating-rate US Treasury notes, bonds, and Treasury bills. Specifically excluded are Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS), Separate Trading of Registered Interest and Principal of Securities (STRIPS), callable Treasuries, and any bonds that were initially issued with a maturity of ten years or longer.
