This benchmark is specifically structured to track the financial performance of prominent and medium-sized companies operating across European markets, with the deliberate exclusion of those based in the United Kingdom. It provides comprehensive coverage, representing approximately 85% of the market's free-float capitalization. The individual components of the index are weighted based on their free-float adjusted market capitalization.
