About HAMDBX
Hamilton Capital Dynamic Balanced CIF R2 is a pooled collective investment fund designed specifically for eligible qualified retirement plan trusts to support retirement savings. Its primary objective is to build retirement assets through compounding high-quality absolute investment returns over time, while seeking both capital growth and current income at reduced risk levels and limiting market losses to enable quicker recovery and compounding. At its neutral position, the portfolio maintains a conservatively balanced allocation of 60% equities and 40% fixed income, but employs a flexible and dynamic asset allocation strategy. Management actively adjusts exposures across global equities, fixed income, cash equivalents, and alternatives to pursue relative value opportunities as market conditions evolve, with wide latitude to emphasize promising asset classes and avoid underperforming ones. Capital protection is prioritized through allocations to lower-risk fixed income and the ability to shift toward defensive assets to mitigate volatility. Current allocations include significant holdings in U.S. investment grade fixed income, U.S. Treasury bonds, large cap U.S. equity, and non-U.S. developed markets equity, with top holdings featuring U.S. Treasury bills, short duration income funds, dividend growth ETFs, and mortgage-backed securities ETFs. Sub-advised by Hamilton Capital with trusteeship from Hand Benefits & Trust Co., this moderately conservative fund plays a key role in retirement plan menus, fitting within ERISA safe harbor provisions.
