About JADLX

JHVIT Small Cap Opportunities Trust is an equity-focused mutual fund designed to provide exposure to U.S. small-capitalization companies. The fund’s primary strategy is to invest at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities of companies whose market capitalizations fall within the range of the Russell 2000 Index, which includes smaller firms that typically offer higher growth potential and increased volatility compared to large-cap counterparts. Utilizing a bottom-up research approach, the fund’s management team identifies securities that appear undervalued, assessing each issuer's financial condition and the intrinsic qualities of their stocks. The portfolio is diversified across a broad array of industries, with risk controls limiting exposure to single industries and issuers. In addition to traditional equities, the fund may allocate assets to below-investment-grade and illiquid securities, as well as employ derivative instruments for risk management and market exposure.
