About PVIVX

The Paradigm Micro-Cap Fund is an actively managed mutual fund focused on achieving long-term capital appreciation by investing primarily in the common stocks of U.S. micro-cap companies. The fund allocates at least 80% of its net assets to firms whose market capitalizations generally fall within the range defined by the Russell Microcap® Index at the time of purchase. This targeted approach offers investors exposure to the smallest tier of publicly traded U.S. companies, a segment often overlooked by larger financial institutions and mutual funds. The fund’s management team, with experience in micro-cap investing since the early 1970s, applies a disciplined process to identify companies that appear undervalued, with solid growth prospects and attractive market valuations. The portfolio typically displays a blend of value and growth characteristics, spanning diverse sectors such as technology, healthcare, consumer cyclicals, and industrials. With a higher expense ratio reflecting the challenges of managing micro-cap assets, the fund plays a specialized role in the financial market by enabling investors to access potential growth opportunities unique to the micro-cap universe and diversify beyond traditional large- and mid-cap holdings.
