The company offers fertilizers under the Engro Zarkhez, Zingro, and Engro DAP brands. It also imports and sells phosphate products; and manufactures, markets, and sells polyvinyl chloride (PVC), vinyl chloride monomer (VCM), caustic soda, and related chemicals.

In addition, the company operates liquid chemical terminals and storage farms, and liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminals for the receipt, storage, and regasification of LNG.

Further, it generates, distributes, transmits, and sells electricity. Additionally, the company buys, builds, maintains, and operates telecommunication infrastructure, including towers, signals, and data transmission products, as well as ancillary products and services; provides consultancy services in the field of telecommunications; manufactures, processes, and sells dairy-based products and frozen desserts; owns and operates farms; and invests in the food, coal mining, dairy, commodities, and trading businesses.

The company was formerly known as Dawood Hercules Corporation Limited and changed its name to Engro Holding Limited in December 2024.
