Hello and welcome to Kebni. I am Kristian Wallin. I'm Chief Commercial Officer with Kebni. The purpose today is to make you the first introduction to Kebni as a company. To do that, I also have Lars Walander with me.
Hi, I'm Lars, Vice President for Product Management in Kebni. Kristian, you have now been in the company for about six months. What is Kebni for you?
Yes, I've been with Kebni for six months. Kebni for me is a very interesting company, covering a lot of different, let's say, mega trends within what's going on in the world. From a technical point of view, especially, we have a very good combination and are very well positioned for the future for the trends of space. Lots of discussion of space currently. We also are covering, for me, I would say navigation. For the SatCom space area, we are taking care of that from satellite communication. We are providing our customers with different kinds of antenna systems. We are providing military antennas for the maritime side. We are providing as well commercial antennas for the land side. For the navigation part of Kebni, inertial sensing, we are providing IMUs.
That is maybe the most common question I get from people not within the industry. What is an IMU? What are you selling? Lars, how would you as an expert describe the IMUs?
Well, first of all, IMU stands for inertial measurement unit.
Okay.
It's an advanced sensor cluster measuring acceleration and angular rate in three axes. I normally say that you could use an IMU for three different applications. The first is motion analysis, the second is stabilization, and the third is for navigation.
Okay. That's very interesting and, again, taking care of these mega trends. Very interesting for the future, I would say. That was Kebni in three minutes. Hopefully, you will join us again on this app, and we have a lot of interesting things to present in the coming weeks, for instance, our strategy that we have for the future. Very welcome back, and thank you.
Great. Thanks.
