The fund invests in the public equity markets of Japan. It invests directly and also through derivatives in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. The fund invests in the stocks of large-cap and mid-cap companies. It seeks to replicate the performance of MSCI Japan Index (Net Return), by investing in the stocks of companies as per their weightings in the index. The fund was formerly known as UBS ETF SICAV - MSCI Japan. UBS Core MSCI Japan UCITS ETF was formed on October 30, 2001 and is domiciled in Luxembourg.
