The fund invests in Canadian dollar denominated debt securities including bonds issued by the Canadian government, Canadian government-related bonds issued by agencies tied to the federal government or provincial governments and companies, as well as bonds issued by foreign corporations and governments that have a remaining term to maturity of at least one year. It seeks to track the FTSE Canada Short Term Overall Bond Index. CI Canadian Short-Term Aggregate Bond Index ETF was formed on June 26, 2017 and is domiciled in Canada.
