CI Marret Alternative Enhanced Yield Fund is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by CI Global Asset Management. It is co-managed by Marret Asset Management, Inc. The fund invests in fixed income markets of the United States and Canada region. It invests directly, through derivatives and through other funds in debt instruments across the credit spectrum including government debt, investment grade corporate debt, high-yield debt, commercial paper, term loans, floating rate securities and other income-producing securities. The fund employs long/short strategy to create its portfolio. The fund employs fundamental analysis with top-down and bottom-up security picking approach to create its portfolio. It seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against the FTSE Canada Short Term Corporate Bond Index.
