The fund invests in the fixed income markets of Canada. It invests in money market securities. The fund invests in investment grade high-quality, short-term debt securities including treasury bills and promissory notes issued or guaranteed by Canadian governments or their agencies, bankers acceptances, commercial paper issued by corporations, banks, and loan companies that are rated in the top two rating categories by any of the designated rating organizations. It invests in securities with a maturity of less than 90 days. iShares Premium Money Market ETF was formed on November 27, 2007 and is domiciled in Canada.
