Global X Short-Term Government Bond Premium Yield ETF is an exchange traded fund launched and managed by Global X Investments Canada Inc. The fund invests in fixed income markets of the United States and Canada region. The fund primarily invests directly, through derivatives and through other funds in government debt securities issued by the Government of Canada and the U.S. Treasury. It invests in securities with maturity of 0-3 years. The fund uses derivatives such as options to create its portfolio. The fund seeks to benchmark the performance of its portfolio against a composite index comprising of 90% of the Bloomberg Canada Treasury Bills: 1-3 Months, 5% of the ICE U.S. Treasury 20+ Year Bond Index and 5% of the Cboe TLT 2% OTM BuyWrite Index. Global X Short-Term Government Bond Premium Yield ETF was formed on May 21, 2024 and is domiciled in Canada.
