iShares Diversified Monthly Income ETF is an exchange traded fund of fund launched and managed by BlackRock Asset Management Canada Limited. The fund is co-managed by BlackRock Institutional Trust Company, N.A. It invests in funds which invest in public equity markets and fixed income markets of Canada. For its equity portion, the fund invests in funds which invest in the stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It invests in stocks of companies across all market capitalizations. For its fixed income portion, the fund invests in funds which invest in fixed income securities. It also invests in funds which invest in real estate investment trusts. The fund was formerly known as iShares Diversified Monthly Income Fund. iShares Diversified Monthly Income ETF was formed on December 5, 2005 and is domiciled in Canada.
