Welcome to EchoStar's 2026 virtual shareholder meeting. I'm Jeff Blum, the Acting Chief Legal Officer and Secretary of EchoStar. It's now 9:00 A.M. Mountain Time, so let's get started. I will now turn the meeting over to our Chairman, Charlie Ergen.
Good morning, and thank you for joining our virtual meeting of our shareholders. I'm Charlie Ergen, President, CEO, and Chairman of EchoStar Corporation, and I'll be serving as the Chairman for today's meetings. The polls are now open for voting. If you have a question regarding the business of today's shareholder meeting, you may submit it via the meeting portal. We will do our best to respond to appropriate questions regarding the business of this shareholder meeting. All current members of the board are in attendance in person or virtually at today's meeting. Also present is Neil Yuan, a representative of KPMG, our independent registered public accounting firm. Now I'll ask Mr. Blum, the Secretary for this meeting, to present proof that notice of the meeting has been properly given.
Thank you, Charlie. I am pleased to confirm that this notice of this meeting has been duly given and that a proxy statement was duly sent to all of the company's shareholders of record as of September 4th, 2026, and additional proxy materials were filed with the SEC.
Thank you, Jeff. Michael Dee has been appointed as the Inspector of Elections for this meeting. The inspector has filed his oath of office with the company along with his certificate stating that the holders of a quorum of the voting securities of the company are present virtually or are represented by proxy at this meeting. There are three proposals to be voted on, and they're set forth in our proxy statement. Number one, the election of eight directors. Two, the ratification of the appointment of KPMG as the independent registered public accounting firm for the company for the fiscal year ending December 31st, 2026. And three, the approval on a non-binding advisory basis of the compensation of our named executive officers. We will now pause a few seconds before closing the polls to allow any final votes through the electronic portal.
The polls are now closed, and the Inspector of Elections has completed his preliminary tabulation. Jeff, may I have your report?
Charlie, the preliminary tabulation of the inspector is as follows. Based on the votes cast in person and by proxy, all proposals have received more than 90% of the total required vote and are therefore passed.
There being no further business, the formal portion of the meeting is hereby adjourned. We will now entertain any questions from shareholders about the items voted upon by the shareholders of this meeting. As usual, updates regarding EchoStar's business and financial performance will be addressed in our next earnings call, which will occur sometime probably in late February based on our annual results.
Charlie, there are no questions today.
Thank you. That concludes our proceedings today. Thank you, everyone, for participating in today's meeting and for your continued support of EchoStar. Operator, you may now end the call.
This now concludes the meeting. Thank you for joining, and have a pleasant day.
