About Binance
Binance is the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, used by more than 300 million people to buy, sell and trade digital assets such as Bitcoin and Ether. The platform offers spot and derivatives trading, staking, lending, payments and a self-custody wallet. It also operates the BNB Chain blockchain and the BNB token at the center of its ecosystem. Binance makes money mainly by charging fees on trades, with additional revenue from margin and futures products, token launches and other financial services. It was founded in 2017 by Changpeng Zhao and Yi He, and in late 2025 it established a global headquarters in Abu Dhabi after years of operating without a fixed base.
