About Cornelis Networks
Cornelis Networks is a high-performance networking company that builds interconnect hardware and software for artificial intelligence and high-performance computing clusters. Its Omni-Path product family includes SuperNICs, switches, cables and open-source OPX software that link large fleets of GPUs and servers together with low latency and high throughput. The company positions its fabric as an alternative to InfiniBand and Ethernet for demanding AI training, inference and scientific computing workloads. In 2026 it introduced Active Compute Fabric, an architecture that embeds programmable compute inside the network itself. Cornelis makes money by selling this networking hardware and support to enterprises, cloud providers, government labs and supercomputing centers. The company was spun out of Intel's Omni-Path business in 2020 and is led by CEO Lisa Spelman, a former Intel data center executive.
