About General Intuition

General Intuition is an AI research lab that builds foundation models which let software agents and machines perceive, predict and act in 3D environments. It trains its action models and world models on billions of action-labeled gameplay clips from Medal, its sister company's clip-sharing platform for gamers. Each clip records both the footage and the keyboard or controller inputs that produced it. The company designs its models to transfer from video games to simulation and to physical systems such as robots, drones and vehicles. General Intuition makes money by selling access to its models through a commercial API, which it currently offers to a small group of partners in gaming, simulation and robotics. It was spun out of Medal in 2025 and is led by co-founder and CEO Pim de Witte, who also founded Medal.
