About Skydio
Skydio is a manufacturer of autonomous flying drones built around its own onboard artificial intelligence and computer vision software. Its aircraft, including the X10 and X10D, can fly fully autonomous missions and avoid obstacles without GPS or a human pilot, and they pair with an autonomous dock that lets them recharge and redeploy on their own. The company makes money by selling drone hardware, docks and subscription software to public safety agencies, defense and military customers, and critical infrastructure operators. Skydio was founded in 2014 by Adam Bry, Abe Bachrach and Matt Donahoe, three former MIT and Google researchers, and is headquartered in San Mateo, California.
