About TEKEVER
TEKEVER is a European defense technology company that develops AI-driven autonomous drones for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions. Its fixed-wing AR3 and AR5 unmanned aircraft are used by armed forces, coast guards and border agencies for maritime patrol, battlefield reconnaissance and search and rescue. The company makes money by selling its drone systems and by operating them under a surveillance-as-a-service model, where customers such as the European Maritime Safety Agency, the UK Home Office and the UK Ministry of Defence pay for flight hours and real-time intelligence rather than the aircraft. Its drones have flown more than 10,000 combat hours in Ukraine since 2022 and are part of the UK's largest ever drone package for Ukraine. TEKEVER was founded in Lisbon in 2001 as a bootstrapped software firm and moved into unmanned systems in the 2010s.
