This ETF is designed to track the performance of the MSCI ACWI IMI SDG 7 Affordable and Clean Energy Select Index. This index comprises large, mid, and small-capitalisation companies operating across both developed and emerging economies. It specifically targets firms that contribute positively to the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG 7), which seeks to ensure universal access to affordable, reliable, sustainable, and modern energy by 2030. These selected companies must also adhere to specific Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria. Eligibility for inclusion requires securities to demonstrate a significant involvement in the clean energy theme, or operate within key business segments such as alternative energy, demand-side management, smart grids, various energy storage solutions, and hydropower generation. The index composition undergoes a semi-annual review, with rebalancing occurring at least quarterly.
