The fund primarily invests in sovereign bonds denominated in local currencies with a maturity of greater than one year and rated A- by S&P and A3 by Moody’s. It seeks to replicate the performance of the FTSE World Broad Investment-Grade Bond Index and the FTSE World Government Bond Index - Developed Markets Capped Select Index, by using representative sampling technique. iShares International Treasury Bond ETF was formed on January 21, 2009 and is domiciled in the United States.
