Union Insurance PLC provides non-life insurance products and services in Bangladesh.

The company offers fire insurance products, including fire and allied peril, fire package, property all risks comprising machinery break-down and business interruption, and power plant operational package insurance; and marine insurance products, such as marine cargo, marine hull, goods in transit, freight, and ship builder’s liability insurance.

It also provides motor insurance products, including private and commercial vehicle insurance, and motorcycle insurance; and engineering insurance products, such as contractors and erection all risks, boiler and pressure vessel, machinery breakdown, deterioration of stock, contractors’ plant and machinery, electrical equipment, and industrial all risk insurance.

In addition, the company offers miscellaneous insurance products consist of burglary and house breaking, cash-in-transit, cash-in-safe, ATM booth, bank lockers, credit card fraud and forgery, fidelity guarantee, banker’s blanket, oversees mediclaim, group hospitalization, workmen’s compensation, personal accident, people’s personal accident, public liability, product liability, professional indemnity, niramoy micro health, and householders’ comprehensive insurance services.

The company was formerly known as Union Insurance Co. Ltd. and changed its name to Union Insurance PLC in April 2026.
