About EQQX
The Invesco NASDAQ-100 Swap UCITS ETF Acc endeavors to mirror the net total return performance of the NASDAQ-100 Index (referred to as the "Reference Index"), accounting for the deduction of associated fees. Comprising 100 of the largest US and international non-financial companies listed on the NASDAQ Stock Market, the Reference Index selects its constituents based on market capitalization. These firms span diverse key sectors such as computer hardware and software, telecommunications, retail/wholesale trade, and biotechnology. Notably, it specifically excludes financial corporations, including investment companies. To meet this objective, the fund primarily invests in a diverse portfolio of equities. While these holdings generally generate the bulk of the fund's returns, they typically do not precisely replicate the securities within the Reference Index itself. Additionally, the fund utilizes unfunded swap agreements. Through these contracts, authorized counterparties commit to exchanging with the fund any disparity between the performance of the Reference Index and that of the underlying equity basket. This strategy is designed to yield a more precise and stable tracking performance relative to the Reference Index than could be achieved solely through direct physical replication. It is important to note that although the fund's stated goal is to replicate the net total return index, the swap agreements are structured to reference the gross total return index. Consequently, the ETF's actual performance is anticipated to surpass the returns of the net return index. This ETF operates under a passive management approach, aiming to track its index. Investors acquire units in this index-tracking fund, which does not grant direct ownership of the fund's underlying assets.
