About BRINC
BRINC is a public safety technology company that designs and manufactures drones and software for police, fire departments and other first responders. Its products include the LEMUR line of tactical indoor drones and Guardian, a Starlink-connected drone built to reach 911 calls before officers arrive and give responders a live view of an emergency. The company pairs this hardware with dispatch software, docking stations and services such as pilot training and grant assistance. Its drones are built in the United States and marketed as a compliant alternative to Chinese-made systems. BRINC makes money by selling drone hardware, software and support to public safety agencies, with Motorola Solutions serving as the exclusive North American reseller of its Guardian platform. More than 900 agencies across all 50 states use its products. The company was founded in 2019 by Blake Resnick, a Thiel Fellow who began developing tactical drones as a teenager after the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting.
