About Neros
Neros is a defense manufacturer that designs and mass-produces first-person view (FPV) attack drones and counter-drone systems for the United States military and allied forces. Its flagship Archer and Archer Strike platforms are low-cost attritable strike drones. It also builds Archer AI for autonomous and GPS-denied targeting, the Bandit counter-UAS interceptor and the ground control systems that operate them. Neros makes money by selling these drones and related hardware to military customers, including the U.S. Army, which selected it as a primary FPV supplier under the Purpose-Built Attritable Systems program and later awarded a five-year contract with a $500 million ceiling. The company runs a vertically integrated, China-free supply chain and operates a 250,000-square-foot factory in Torrance, California that it is scaling toward one million drones per year. It was founded in 2023 by former competitive drone racers Soren Monroe-Anderson and Olaf Hichwa.
